2013 Annual Report

It was another active and productive year for Partnership
for a Connected Illinois (PCI) in 2013, as efforts to expand high-speed Internet access, fuel economic development and bridge the digital divide continued throughout Illinois.

To kickoff 2014, PCI has released its second annual report, highlighting the organization's efforts and activities over the previous year.

As seen in this year's report, PCI produced several exclusive research studies during the year, helping to illustrate the state of connectivity and usage throughout the state. In 2013, PCI also convened the inaugural Broadband Telemedicine Summit.

The report, available for download, highlights key activities of the non-profit PCI in 2013. It serves as an introduction piece for those not familiar with the organization, as well as a fond retrospective for our partners and friends.

The annual report spotlights key projects from the past year, including the Broadband Innovation Fund and work to support Gov. Pat Quinn’s Illinois Gigabit Communities Challenge. As PCI heads into 2014,
the organization remains poised to continue the mission of "Better Broadband, Better Lives" for all Illinois citizens.

Also featured in the 12-page document are Broadband Illinois' web tools for finding and requesting broadband service.
