eTeams working in ten Illinois regions to facilitate partnerships, coordinate applications
SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, September 14, 2012 – Broadband enthusiasts across the state have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18 to submit proposals to the Illinois Broadband Innovation Fund.
The fund prompts Illinois innovators to propose ways to improve quality of life through broadband usage,and up to $500,000 will be awarded to the most promising internet adoption and usage projects.
Working on a proposal now? Broadband Illinois offers a variety of resources to innovators throughout the state.
eTeam coordinators in Broadband Illinois’ ten regions are fielding dozens of questions, convening stakeholder meetings, helping build partnerships between internet providers and private, public, and nonprofit organizations, and offering technical support.
