PCI’s Eden to discuss local importance of eTeams in broadband development

CHAMPAIGN - Jeff Eden, Outreach Director for Partnership for a Connected Illinois, will discuss the importance of local involvement in the advancement of broadband development at the University of Illinois Extension’s 13th annual leadership conference on Wednesday, June 15. Eden and PCI are in the process of creating a statewide network of Regional eTeams for the purpose of convening, aggregating demand and developing supply side solutions.
The session will cover the overall status of this initiative, and the importance of local involvement. The conference will take place on Wednesday, June 15 at the I Hotel in Champaign. PCI is a non-profit organization created by the State of Illinois to implement a statewide high speed Internet deployment strategy and demand creation initiative.
