NOTICE OF GRANT OPPORTUNITY: ELIMINATE THE DIGITAL DIVIDE
FY’11 GRANT PROGRAM
SUMMARY:
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is announcing the release of the Fiscal Year 2011 Request for Application (RFA) for the Eliminate the Digital Divide Grant Program (EDD).
PROGRAM GOAL:
The goals of the Eliminate the Digital Divide Grant Program is to increase access to computers and telecommunications technology and related training for residents of low-income communities through the establishment of Community Technology Centers (CTCs)
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
- Public Libraries
- Not-for-Profit Organizations
- Park Districts
- Schools (K-12 & institutions of higher education)
- Hospitals
PERFORMANCE PERIOD:
The period of performance will be from June 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. The approved budget will cover expenses for the same period of time.
DUE DATE:
Proposals must be received by the Department no later end of the day on March 10, 2011. Respondents much submit an original and three copies along with an electronic submission of the completed format provided to:
