Gordon Alloway
Gordon Alloway is the Project Director for
Heartland Telehealth Resource Center. The HTRC provides technical assistance to help health care organizations, networks and providers implement cost-effective telehealth programs serving rural and medically underserved areas and populations.
Prior to his current role, Gordon served as a project manager for the University of Kansas Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth. He collected and summarized data for the home telehealth research pilot program and served as the principal contact for TeleNews, the quarterly newsletter published electronically by Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He also worked for the Midwest Alliance for Telehealth & Technology Resources, one of five federally funded telehealth resource centers. Gordon has a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Kansas. He is now completing work on a master's degree in strategic communication from KU.
